Adventure Time!

As the post title suggests, yesterday was quite an adventure.  After siesta, I went to the ISA office for an informational meeting about flamenco classes.  Well, the ISA office was just the meeting point for the meeting.  Remember how far we walked for the flamenco show on Wednesday? Well, this was even past that (and further uphill).  But the view made it worth it.

At the meeting, we decided to have a two hour class Monday nights for the rest of September, and then maybe figure out another schedule once the semester starts and we are taking more classes.  Afterwards, some of the other people were talking about checking out a museum, so I decided to tag along.  First, we went to Café Fútbol for some churros and chocolate.  It was absolutely delicious, and the cafe is quite close to my building, so I will probably be visiting it again.  Then we headed to the museum.  When we got there, the man at the door said it was closed that evening for a presentation, but we were able to look in to the garden.  That in itself was pretty cool.

We decided  to just keep exploring, so we  went up a flight of stairs that looked pretty.  At each turn there were more and more stairs, so we just kept on going up and up.  When we got to the top, we turned around and saw this:

The pictures don't do it justice. Really. You could see the whole city, the mountains, and the sky. It was stunning.  And we just stumbled across it.  It turned out to be really close the the building where I have classes, so you can bet I will be coming back.
